Our goal is to protect Weymouth’s maritime heritage while creating enjoyable harbour experiences for visitors and residents.
Why the CIC was created
Historic vessels are an important part of the harbour’s identity.
The CIC ensures that vessels such as My Girl and Enchantress remain active on the water rather than disappearing from the harbour.
Community Benefit
As a Community Interest Company, our focus is not simply commercial.
We aim to:
- preserve maritime heritage
- share local history
- support Weymouth’s cultural identity
- provide meaningful visitor experiences
